FAQs

  • Decorative wood:

All wood is naturally photosensitive, this means that it changes colour ever so slightly in UV light.

With this in mind, to keep your items looking their best and as true to when you buy them, I would recommend keeping them out of direct sunlight.

To clean tables and shelves simply wipe over with a damp cloth.

    Kitchen wood:

    Keeping it clean-

Natural wood products are NOT dishwasher safe: Simply wipe clean with a cloth and dry out afterwards rather than letting them stand in water.

Over time and use the wooden items you use in the kitchen, such as spoons, bowls and chopping boards may start to show signs of age.

The easiest thing to do is give them a fresh coat of oil with a lint free cloth. Oils that you might have at home could be used, such walnut oil, rapeseed oil or linseed oil.

Oil all over, wipe off any excess and leave to dry over night.

Give it a wipe with a clean cloth before using.

  • I am only shipping within the UK at the moment.

  • For most products I use two coats of OSMO top oil. A food safe oil designed for worktops, so it’s really hard wearing and made with natural oils and waxes.

For the driftwood candle holders I use a wax-based finish.
