This beautiful dish is made from incredibly rare local walnut from right here in Southwest Scotland.
Hand turned in my workshop and finished with two coats of a durable food safe wax and oil blend - it can be used for food, but you might change your mind once you see the luscious rippled grain!
This bowl has a round bottom with a bit of weight in the piece allowing it to wobble about for a second or two before it sits still.
Although designed with food in mind, it is also the perfect piece for keeping your jewellery in when you go to bed, or to enjoy for it’s own sake on display in your home.
